Assets - Overview
Upon clicking the Assets tab, portal users can:
Search for assets using the Asset Search Bar
View a summary of all assets in the Asset Summary Table
See a notification section highlighting assets that require attention
1. Searching for an Asset
Users can quickly locate assets by entering an Asset ID or keyword into the Asset Filter Bar. The system will dynamically filter the Asset Summary Table to display relevant results.
📌 Example: Typing "asset" in the search bar will filter the results accordingly.
2. Accessing Detailed Asset View
Clicking on an asset within the Asset Summary Table opens the Detailed Asset View, where users can:
View and edit static asset information
Review all fueling transactions associated with the asset
Detailed Asset View Features
Asset Information
Displays key details about the asset
Includes an Edit Asset button that redirects the user to the Asset Form in edit mode
Last Known Location Map - Provides a map view of the asset’s most recent recorded location.
Transactions Summary Report - Users can filter fueling transactions by selecting a time frame and specific truck, and then clicking Filter to update the report.
3. Adding a new asset
Users can add a new asset by clicking the plus (+) icon located on the right-hand side of the Transactions Summary Report.
📌 Clicking this icon redirects the user to the Add Asset Form, where they can enter the necessary details and save the new asset.
4. View assets that require attention
The notification section displays the number of assets that require attention. Clicking on this section redirects the user to a filtered list of flagged assets, allowing them to review and take necessary action.
An asset is flagged as "Requires Attention" in the following cases:
Automatic Asset Creation via Email Import
When a new asset is created from an XLSX file sent via email.
(Note: This applies only to newly created assets, not updates to existing ones.)
Fueling Transaction Outside Designated Site
When a fueling transaction is completed, but the asset’s geolocation is outside the designated site.
Manual Asset Creation by Truck Operator
When a Truck Operator attempts to fuel an asset that does not exist in the system and creates a new one.
Unflagging an Asset
To remove the "Requires Attention" status:
Click on the Assets require attention section on the Assets page.
Open an asset record.
Edit the asset and toggle off the Requires Attention checkbox.
Click Update to save changes.
