Pre-requisites:

  • Supports CTM-ONE devices with firmware version 1.4.0 or later.

  • 4-position jumper connector (for CTM-ONE devices with internal batteries)

  • 10-position jumper connector

Device with No Battery Installed

  1. Before proceeding, ensure all power sources are unplugged from the CTM-ONE device; Verify that all LEDs are turned off.

  2. Connect the 10-position jumper connector to the port labelled iButton (shown above).

  3. Connect external power supply.

The CTM-ONE will turn on but the only LED on will be the power LED.

After approximately 30 seconds, the LEDs adjacent to the green power LED will sequentially illuminate from right to left (shown above).

  1. Once the LEDs stop, indicating a successful reset, only the green power LED should remain on. At this point, remove the 10-position jumper connector.

  2. You will be able to access your unit via web interface at https://192.168.1.1 or https://169.254.0.1.

  3. If not successful, repeat the process starting at step 1.

Device with Internal Battery

The CTM-ONE will ship with a 4-position connector installed. This connector is used to disable the internal battery for shipping purposes and to prevent undesired battery discharge.

  1. Re-install the power jumper to the port labeled with the Power icon(blue star) . This will power off the unit, indicated by all LEDs turning off.

  1. Connect the 10-position connector to the port labelled iButton.

  1. After connecting the 10-position jumper connector, remove the 4-position jumper connector from the power port.

  2. Connect a power connector that is actively powered, such as one wired to the vehicle battery with the ignition on or an AC/DC power adapter.

The CTM-ONE will power on, indicated by a solid green power LED.

After approximately 30 seconds, the LEDs adjacent to the green power LED will begin to illuminate in a blinking sequence from right to left.

  1. Once the LEDs next to the power LED stop blinking, the reset is successful. At this point, remove the 10-position jumper connector.

The modem power LED will remain solid green, after approximately 3-4 minutes the other LED lights will turn on.

  1. You will be able to access your unit via web interface at https://192.168.1.1 or https://169.254.0.1.

  2. If not successful, repeat the process starting at step 1.
