Firmware 1.4.x and later

Device with Internal Battery

  1. Re-install the power/shipping jumper to turn the unit off completely

  1. Short pins 9 and 10 on the connector labeled iBUTTON

  1. Remove the power jumper from step 1 and quickly connect the external power supply.

  2. Keep pins 9 and 10 shorted for about 30 seconds.

You will not see any indication via LEDs that factory reset is successful.

  1. If the reset was successful, you will be able to access your unit via web interface at https://192.168.1.1 or https://169.254.0.1.

  2. If not successful, repeat the process starting at step 1.

Device with No Battery Installed

  1. Short pins 9 and 10 on the connector labeled iBUTTON (shown above).

  2. Connect external power supply.

  3. Keep pins 9 and 10 shorted for about 30 seconds.

You will not see any indication via LEDs that factory reset is successful.

  1. If the reset was successful, you will be able to access your unit via web interface at https://192.168.1.1 or https://169.254.0.1.

  2. If not successful, repeat the process starting at step 1.
