Please connect the CTM-500 to a suitable power supply. There are three options for powering the CTM-500:

  • DC Power supply (refer to appendix for more detail)

  • Power over Ethernet (PoE)

  • Vehicle ECU (OBDII/J1939)

DC Power Supply

Power for the CTM-500 can be sourced through an AC/DC wall adapter for continuous operation. Alternatively, a DC power cable can connect to a DC power source within the range of 7-32 VDC. Moreover, ignition line detection is supported, allowing the CTM-500 to transition into standby/suspend modes for low-power scenarios.

Simply connect an appropriate power source to the 4-pin locking connector marked with the power icon (blue star) .
