The CTM-500 uses external antennas for cellular, Wi-Fi and GNSS. If the CTM-500 is mounted with a clear view of the sky, a single connection point to the vehicle is all that is needed an external antenna is connected between the device and the OBDII or J1939 port of the vehicle.
