The CTM-500 uses external antennas for cellular, Wi-Fi and GNSS. If the CTM-500 is mounted with a clear view of the sky, a single connection point to the vehicle is all that is needed an external antenna is connected between the device and the OBDII or J1939 port of the vehicle. For other mounting scenarios where the CTM-500 may be obstructed from a clear view of the sky, Cypress Solutions recommends:
