If a SIM card becomes stuck in the SIM holder, DO NOT attempt to force its removal as this could damage the SIM holder. Please reach out to contact Cypress Solutions Support for assistance. In certain instances where the modem fails to detect a SIM card, this may result from manufacturing tolerances of the SIM card. Adding a thin piece of Scotch tape to the backside of the SIM to slightly increase its thickness can aid in ensuring electrical contact with the SIM holder contacts. We can provide SIM tape for this purpose upon request. |
